Caravan Park

Where Grey Nomads Congregate to re-unite with Friends Old and New.

We are an over 50 s Park, suited to the older style travellers who are looking for a Safe and Secure Park that offers peace and quiet, wide open 20 m drive thru sites, no child facilities with Budget rates and were located just 20 k on the North side of Townsville.

Welcome to our little slice of Paradise, come on in and check us out. You will find wide open sites suited to all size rigs, especially big long ones, and if you are travelling with friends then you can all circle your wagons in a group together, as our sites are so large.

We have a very quiet secure park with high tension fencing all round. The Park Gate is electronically controlled by a Key Pad number which we advise when you pull in to enter the Park. Just phone in to 47 888 322 or 0419 213 555 and we will advise the code number to enter. So you can sleep with quiet confidence your assets are safe in our Park.

We have just installed a new Nomad Exercise Centre where Park Guests can get fit while enjoying the peace and tranquility of the Australian Bush right out back view.

We now have a Top Class Hair Stylist (28 years experience) visiting our Park, Saturday Afternoons in season (June - August) offering our guests Hair Services to Men and Ladies. (Cost is Ladies $18 Men $12.)

We have a wide variety of Native Bush Birds here at the Park and in the surrounding Trees and Dams. Different Bird Watchers have stayed here and set up Scopes at their site, and observed a surprising range of species living in and around the Park and adjacent Bush and the Black River. We boast the biggest and best Wheelie Toilet/Shower in town as well as Six huge showers plus the cleanest toilets you will find anywhere. Tv and Internet reception is excellent and NBN wireless is on the way.

Sites are mostly 20 m plus and some are 30 m long. Some Van sites have cement slabs and roofed annexes, and there are lots of shade trees too. We have Hot Showers, Toilets, Great Big Camp Kitchen with Wood Fire and Gas BBQs as well as a brand new Pizza Oven and Herb Gardens too.

There are 6 Speed Queen Washiing Machines, 2 Dryers with lots of line hanging space as well as Laundry Trollies too. A Dump Point is located away from the Park Sites.

We have a large Pet Exercise Paddock for your best friend and exclusive parking for pet owners so please ring when entering the park on 47 888 322 for directions to the Pet Friendly Sites, A 1 through to A 10 on front row and C 1 to C 4 on your left hand side, which are closest to the Pet Free Roam Paddock.

Pet Friendly Park

We have acres of mowed pet areas to walk your dog as well as the Black River too, so your best friend will love our park, we have a special pet free roam exercise area which has pet owner seating and shade as well as pet sand pit play area and dog wash bay, plus exclusive Pet clothes washing machine for pet linen.
The Black River is a stones throw behind the park where your dog can free roam and run in the sandy shallow fresh clean water, and chase the birds.
Small dogs ok, larger dogs, conditions are, must be non savage and not pose a threat to any other dog.
Pet to remain in your van or annexe and on lead when inside the park area.
Droppings to be picked up and deposited in Industrial Bin.
